Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Technique beats size
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling art focused on control, leverage, positioning and submissions. It teaches you to defend yourself against larger or stronger opponents while improving strength, flexibility, endurance and problem-solving under pressure.
Our classes include gi and no-gi training and draw on Judo and Wrestling to build a complete grappling foundation. Professor Cherry is an IBJJF 3rd degree black belt, a 2nd degree Kodokan Judo black belt and a former college and Army wrestler, and Coach Akaash and Coach DJ both earned their black belts under him in 2024.

One of the best well rounded BJJ gyms I have been to. LE/Military friendly with a good group of people to train with including advanced belts willing to work with beginners.
I’ve been training at Bellicose MMA since I was 13 years old in 2015, and now at 23 I’m still proud to be a part of this amazing community! I currently train in both Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai, and the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about what they do.
